AJC: Billy Knight finally makes a play

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Sun Feb 17, 2008 12:45 am

Given how he generally has operated, Billy Knight has left many with the impression that he wakes up in the morning, looks in the mirror, remembers who he is, maybe eats a Pop Tart and then goes back to sleep.

Reading the way complements are delivered to Billy Knight makes me understand why he doesn't speak with the media often.

I like when a GM doesn't come out to the media. On the other hand it would be nice to know which free agents the Hawks are pursing. Being a loud mouth GM can easily burn some bridges...cough Mark Cuban...cough.

It's true the media does suck most of the time, but it isn't like the criticisms are completely undeserved in this case.

Anyway, nice on picking up Bibby. I think this trade works well for both teams.
