Lorenzen Wright?

Post#1 » by RIPskaterdude » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:16 pm

Hi guys, Kings fan here...

Can you tell me a little bit about Lo Wright? He used to put up pretty good numbers in MEM, but as soon as he went to the Hawks, his numbers went down more and more. Is there a reason why you didn't play him? Was he injured this year?

Thanks.

Nothing left in the tank. He actually played better in my opinion in his few outings this year than last, but the stats didn't back that perception up. He's a vet and good clubhouse guy, but nothing but expiring contract filler.

I agree with Dallas. He played better this year than the last one, but he's done. Anyway, if you have to defend a guy like D. Howard, O'Neal and those big bodies, he might be useful. I trust him on defense much better than Zaza.
GO HAWKS.

Offensively he is a joke. He can have some good games defensively on occassion.

Just don't expect him to score unless he has an uncontested layup.

He's more of a veteran presence than an on-court producer. He may be helpful with Spencer Hawes development, but don't expect much in terms of being a factor in games.

He did a good job on Dwight when we played Orlando.
