Yes, more predictable minutes help.

No, he can't do it from the bench.

Will Zaza step up and regain form as rebounder off bench?

Our bench has less bodies now, but about the same amount of talent. Can it play better? This first poll is Zaza specific.

He's put up better numbers the last couple years than he is producing now. Can he step it back up and contribute more? It's a basic yes/no. The extra descriptive text isn't important. If you think the answer is No because he sucks, still choose the No option. As usual post to expand upon you answer if you like.

ZaZa needs to prove he can out rebounding Josh Childress first. Most certainly ZaZa can do more and he better if we are going to have any production out of our bench.

This may be a Boris Diaw type deal. Surprise everyone with their ability (of course Zaza is not as good as Diaw) but then start to struggle once their role is heavily reduced. I'm hoping he becomes inspired again.

But in short, no.

I don't see anything in Zaza's game changing. It's been over half a season and he's been bad. Why would that change now?

Zaza has certainly not so much changed as a player since last year or the previous one. It's the team. They now play Horford at the place of Zaza, and Zaza has for him that, last year at this moment , ATL had almost the same record than this year with Horford taking his role.

So Zaza is better in last year role. Horford ? We don't know, we only see him in main role. So why not try Zaza as starting C and playing 30 minutes, with Horford backing him and Josh Smith ?
I Don't know if this solution is worst or better, but if Horford continues to produce the same coming of the bench, it is worth a try.

Zaza has been absolutely worthless in the vast majority of his minutes on the floor. I'd say he has changed a lot from last year.

I certainly hope so. It might just be me but it seems like he has been slightly better lately, still terrible, but slightly less so.

Unfortunately it just looks like he is out of sorts. He comes in and just plays in his own little world. If I were Woody I'd slap the **** out of him and tell him that he isn't Hakeem. He is still a great offensive rebounder, unfortunately too many of those Oboards come from his own shots.

I think he can still be productive even in his current state but someone has to put him in his place.
