Interesting stat breakdown between AK47, Matrix, Tayshaun, Gerald Wallace, and our own JSmoove. Quite a few of the posters have Smoove top 2, but opinions vary.

Yes, It looks like J Smooth is geting a lot of love around the NBA. Question....Do you think with very few team under the cap next year and the ones that are have their own player to sign that is was a calculated move by ownership to let the market dictate what we pay the Joshes. And what do we think that number would be?

Seems pretty standard... I think they just wanted to see if Smith could continue to improve and they might have wanted to SnT Chil all along.
I think Woody, Smith, and co. should sit down and look how these guys are used in their team's offense (I personally think Smith is the best defender of the 3). How Gerald has some sets designed for him to slash to the basket and pick up fouls, how Marion is used off the ball, how AK is used as a quick hit passing hub...
It seems like we never stick to what works well with certain guys. Smith can pick up fouls when he attacks the basket but lately he NEVER gets the ball with enough time/space to do it effectively. In the NY game Smith and Horford were getting tons of lobs off the PnR but also off of other screens where they could cut to the basket... we just get away from stuff like that. Sometimes you need to switch your offense up for it to work.
