Hawks Playoff Tickets

Post#1 » by Retrovision » Thu Mar 20, 2008 11:18 pm

I was just checking around the internet for hawks ticket prices in the playoffs and the cheapest ticket for sale on stubhub.com is $124. Is that a resonable price?? The tickets are in sections 317-318. Thats the same section I paid Six dollars for tickets to the Knicks game.

$124 ? :o

Go there, and the cheapest ticket for DET first playoff game is at $21 for one ticket, and $13/ticket for 2...

Link

On the same site, ATL tickets start at $121.

It's amazing to see DET starting at $13 and ATL at $121...

That's like 15 games worth during the regular season.

For a working man. Its impossible for a high school student!!!
We have no sense! Why would a team with very shaky fan support have such outrageous prices? If these prices dont drop you can bet I will be siting on the couch watching. And Philips Arena will be the usual empty nest. BTW does anybody know what the ticket prices were for Thrashers playoff ticket's a year ago?

That can't be possible

That sounds like a true rip-off! How can this be justified?

Sounds like Gearon and his owner-buddies have a lot of explaining to do on this one.

There isn't a game that this team plays worth anywhere near that amount.

They are making it almost impossible for the college/high school fan to attend a game.

Relax. That's a scalper price, not from the actual team. When/if they sell individual playoff games they'll be a little more than regular season prices. I didn't lock in playoff tickets because I didn't feel like making a decision on next season's tickets yet (too many things are up in the air).

By the way, that is a delusional scalper.

Send me a link to det playoff tickets being $13. I don't believe that for a second.

Wow, Ticketsnow.com has really improved their website from what I remember. I couldn't get the interactive map to load, but the basic UI was pretty good.

There was already a link, just read my previous post and click on "Link".
It could be a mistake since lots of other teams start at $100 or more, but CLE is starting at $49, so it is possible that DET has some few tickets at this price.
