He was asked about Horford's play and he said he thought Horford played fantastic. Then he went on to say he was pleased with Horford and Childress off the bench along with Zaza... huh????

Then he was asked if he thought sitting Josh Smith after the 2 fouls took him out of his rythmn... He said yes, it did. Then he said we're probably going to have to start letting him play through the foul situation.... huh?? Didn't we already go over this??!!!

We should try to switch him with Mike Fratello in Game 2.

I know it didn't cost us the game but sitting players out for the rest of the half with 2 fouls "rule" is something I've never seen done by any other coach but Woody. This is seriously only done in college. If you remember...He benched Joe almost the entire 3rd in the biggest game(to that point)of the season against New Jersey with only 3 fouls. He also took Horford out for the rest of the 2nd half with 6 minutes to go in the 1st quarter against Indy. He left with the lead and when he came back we were down double digits. He also did the same thing to Josh Smith in that Boston game at Phillips and we got destroyed while he was on the bench in the 2nd quarter. You would think the Hawks would be the last team in the NBA to employ this dumb strategy considering we only have 6 quality players.

I blame Woody for alot of things wrong with the Hawks(some of it is his fault and I'm sure that some of it's not)but sitting players our for 12 plus minutes when they aren't in 'foul trouble" is the one thing that confirms to me that he is w/o question an idiot who isn't qualified to coach a team. The fact the rest of the coaching staff hasn't brought this up in meetings or something also leads me to believe they are also very incompetent as well. I want all of them to be shown the door(except for the Fizdale guy)along with Woodson this summer.

Yeah I always thought the 2 fouls in a half was college because they only have 5 fouls and not as experienced as pros not to foul again. But then again, Bosh today had 4 fouls in the 3rd, in his game today. So pros maybe isn't that much more exp.

If I am not mistaken, both Fizdale and Drew try to get out of their contracts by interviewing for positions with other teams during the summer. But BK wouldn't let them out of their contracts when they asked to forgo the last year. Drew, who is an LA resident, had been offered the lead asst job in Sacramento (to be closer to his family) and Fizdale was offered the Player Dev. job in Cleveland.

So, I think EVERYONE is gone after the series.

Did anyone really expect Woodson to have magically changed his M.O. in the playoffs?

The Wood-pecker is a joke. I'm sick of him making the same dumb mistakes every game.

I really can't wait to get rid of this MF. I'd rather have Jim Mora Jr. as the Head Coach.
