I would trade Zaza/Claxton for Mobley but the Smith for Kaman swap is heavily in your favor. Kaman(until he proves otherwise)is not as good as he played this year. I just find it odd that he decides to become a fantasy monster the year Brand get's hurt and the year the Clippers go back to being one of the worst teams in the league. If the Hawks go after an expensive big man this summer then it should be Nene who could be had for much less than Josh Smith and would be a perfect fit if he got healthy.

So you consider Joe Johnson a franchise player but you guys only won 37 games, and from reading most of these posts it seems like Josh Smith or Al Horford is the franchise, and everyone else you guys seem unsure about.Take it or leave it ,just my evaluation.

There is a difference between thinking a guy is a franchise player and not wanting to give him up in a crappy deal.

We don't need to trade him.

JJ is paid like a franchise player, but most on this board don't seem him as one (although he is a very good player).

You had your chance to get JJ when he was an RFA but you went after Redd and Hughes instead. Tough.

There are so many aspects of the game that make a team and it's record. JJ can't do it all, he's the only player being doubled, and no one can take the pressure off him. Josh Smith won't be a franchise player until he can demand a double team.
