Haha, the Hawks bandwagon is rolling now baby....

I was at a bar last night and all the drunk Yanks fans were flipping out for the Hawks, half my office is on the bandwagon.

I was pumped this morning going into work, but reality hit me once I saw the three tv trucks gone from the arena, so now it's time to prove we can do it on the road as well.

We've got the momentum now it boils down to winning a road game.

The Hawks lost just about every big road game of the year (Chicago/ NJ/Indy)but they need to find a way to pull out a game like they did in Washington(twice)or that 1st Orlando game where they played near perfect ball. I think the Hawks just need to play well(remember they lost every quarter of the 1st 2 games)in game 5 and show them that this is a much different/more confident team than the one who got curb stomped in the 1st two games.

That was my intial reaction, but Marvin's defense on Pierce can't be overlooked. They have depth to replace Perkins, we basically lose our bench if Marvin goes and Pierce has his easiest game yet.

As far as the KG thing, meh. I doubt they'll suspend him and I would be fine with that.

If we lose Marvin, I think West can take care of guarding Pierce if he can keep his fouls to a minimum. We would lose a little on offense, but it's not like Marvin has been lighting up the scoreboard lately anyway.

Starting West considering how weak our offense was the first two games wouldn't be smart. I'd rather go with two pg's(Law/Bibby)or let Salim start the game and hope he catches fire.

TNT showed that he stepped on the court during the Zaza/KG thing. He didn't even really step on the court...he just stood up and part of his foot happened to be over the line. Perkins was also standing up before the thing happened and took a step over the court. It wasn't like they jumped up and ran on the court(ala Amare/Diaw)but I think both will probably get suspended according to the rules.

It kind of looked like Marvin just happened to have a foot on the floor. He never knows what he's doing anyway.

The issue with Perk is that he got off the bench and walked toward the altercation. It will be interesting to see how it is handled.

Ok Retro....time to remove the X from Zaza. He deserves that respect now...

Zaza made KG look like John Amechi.

Amechi is probably tougher than KG in real life.

Just rewatched the game. Pierce made two incredibly dumb plays down the stretch. We all know about the missed layup but what was he doing trying to take a charge from JJ while backpedaling? We were up just 3 with the ball at that point, if they get a stop there they have a shot.
