Jay-Z will be a representative for the NBA Draft Lottery

Post#1 » by fo_o_fo_404 » Tue May 20, 2008 3:23 pm

According to MTV News and our wiretaps, rap mogul Jay-Z will represent the New Jersey Nets tonight for the NBA Draft Lottery.

I know that no one from the Hawks will be there...but this should be interesting...especially the Nets are lucky and get the first pick! LOL

That would be crazy!

It will be worth watching tonight...

Any thoughts on what Jay Z would say if the Nets won the lottery??

"You're now tuned into the greatest! Roc boys in the building tonight!

"We're the dope boys of the year....drinks are on the house!!"

"We in the house!"

I'm sticking with the theory that Stern promised Memphis the number one pick if they just gave Gasol to the Lakers for 20 cents on the dollar.

The lottery is not fixed. I want Memphis to get number two and possibly have to take Rose and end up with 40 young PG's on the roster.

True. I want to see Memphis get the 1st pick to see what they do. They would be under a ton of pressure. Beasley fits better roster wise(and I think he will be the best player in the draft) but the Tigers put alot more fans into their arena than the Grizzlies did last year. I also wouldn't mind getting Conley,Critt,or Lowry if they were to become available.

Memphis said they's take Beasley if they got number one. Now if they got number two things will get fun.

It's nice not to have a vested interest in the lotto for once!

I know. It seems the lottery came by so quick this season too. Most years I am waiting and waiting for the lottery and it seems to take forever to get here. This year I couldnt believe it already happened.
