What position does he play, SF or PF?

At 6'9 240-ish with fairly long arms, he has solid size for the PF position. If he could get his handle/jumper a little tighter he could be absolutely nasty as a post-up SF but for now he is one of the biggest impact players in the league at his position.

Josh Smith lacks the consistent jumpshot to be considered a small forward. His post skills have improved over the past few years, so I'm going to say that he's more of a power forward.

He's much better at PF at both ends of the floor.

On defense he doesn't have the lateral quickness to defend the 3 and at the 4 he is there to rebound and patrol the paint more often.

On O he's been developing a post game and has much better dribbling/slashing/shooting skills for a 4 where those skills are average at best for a 3.

I completely disagree with this. At points this year, he showed the lateral quickness to defend points and two guards. Not that you would do it consitantly mind you, but defensively, he can cover those guys.
