What's your definition of jacking up shots? Essentially, everyone in the NBA jacks up shots. I've read so many comments about people praising his tenacious defense dude. Do you even watch the games?

Stop talking off the box score buddy, your making you self sound stupider.

Only ONCE this whole season did he ever get to play 15 minutes two games in a row. In those two games he shot 11-24 FG 5-11 3PT. How can you say he was ever given a fair opportunity? 10 minutes is not enough.

Did you look at my earlier post? That totally proves that if he is given consistent minutes he will produce.

Rip, what team do you think he would excel on?

10 minutes isn't enough? You mean when Salim goes 0-5 in 10 minutes we should leave him in longer to get into a rhythm?

I really want Salim to do well, he is so fun to watch and work very hard. But he didn't deserve to play this year because he didn't perform when given the opportunity.

Are you suggesting that our coach is good and its just our perceptions. People on other boards being stupid doesn't really factor in with me right now. OUR coach is horrible.

I don't think Woody is "horrible." It's just interesting to see how coaching is overrated on every board. Everyone always blames the coach, and they ignore the fact that they usually are just stuck with a bad team.

I don't think Woody is good by any means, but I think we could do much worse if we fired him and left it to ASG and Sund to hire a competent coach.

I fail to see how we could possibly do worse. He is a horrible coach in every faucet of the game. He doesn't have one in game coaching strength that says "smart guy". Which is why he would look better coaching a team with players that would ignore him and do what needs to be done on the court....like Detroit.

Yes, everyone likes to blame coaches. I don't. I understand people complain all the time. Spurs fans call Pop a idiot, Suns fans called D'Antoni an idion, Utah fans call Sloan an idiot and so on. But just because a bunch of people who obviously can't see a good coach when he is there call a guy bad, doesn't mean he is actually bad.

Woody is bad. Terry Stotts would be a major coaching upgrade right now. And people think he is a bad coach.
