Another J Smith S+T option(Detroit)

J Smith to Detroit
Teyshaun Prince and Amir Johnson to Atlanta

Gives us a Defensive replacement for J Smith, although at SF instead of PF. We could then resign J Childress and maybe bring in another PF.

Teyshaun Prince and Marvin Williams together? We don't have time for position battles at the 3 or for Marvin coming off our bench. Doesn't make much sense! However, you move AL to the 4, and find a athletic 4/5 to go with ZaZa at the 5 (Not an easy find). As much as I like Amir and what he can become I still don't think we need to take any steps back from being a playoff contender.

If we could somehow trade Chill for Teyshaun, now that would be an elite starting 5. There's no way I would let Smoove go, but I'd love to get an upgrade for Chill in a sense and put Marvin on the bench. Prince would also be a huge upgrade defensively while improving scoring punch and keeping up the "long & athletic" ideal. Bringing Marvin off the bench as a 6th man would likely have the same if not better impact as Chill. I don't know how they could get it done, but it would be a sweet pipe dream.
