Even he would help as our second big off bench. Unless Morris can beat him out.

IIRC, there are some character concerns with Jelani.

Even so, he's one of the best remaining bigs for sure.

Did you really just open a post advocating signing.........Jelani McCoy?

Seriously?!?

Maybe we can bring in Eric Montross and Cadillac Anderson while we're at it? :D

They can all help keep the bench from flying away.

Might as well bring Hanno Mottola back.

Am I supposed to apologize because you find it ridiculus to post a thread proposing McCoy?

You might want to direct your sarcasm to Sund and/or ASG for failing to bring in a a better BIG than a never played in the NBA Morris.

We have nneded a big since Motumbo. Everyone on these boards has advocated getting a BIG. We got Horford and that's great, but if I was GM I think I'd set my goals highr than Morris and Hunter as reinforcements for our undermanned front-court.

C'mon man. Don't take it so personal. It's all in fun.

But seriously, Jelani McCoy sucks.

McCoy has always sucked, and now hes older.

If I ran the Hawks, I would offer tryouts to Nick Fazekas ( i honestly think he'll become a good NBA rotation big man before you now it), James Augustine, and the veteran...Michael Doleac.

Nick actually did pretty good last season in 22 games with the Clippers. With the fact that hes a 2nd year big man who was a 2nd round draft pick, pretty sure he would only cost a bit above $600,000, i'm honestly shocked no team has snatched him up. 6'11", 57.1 fg%, 4.7 points, and 3.9 rebounds. For a cheap free agent, how is he not on an NBA roster?

Hes never going to be a superstar, but come on...how is he not on an NBA roster?
