Defense anyone?

Well I was very excited when the Hawks went 6-0 and then with the lose to the Celtics I was still very excited. The past 2 games coming into tonight werent very good defensive games but we got stops down the stretch. The nets seemed to expose us tonight and it was just ugly to watch down the stretch. I know when Josh gets back well be just fine but until then idk what were gonna do cuz its starting to get worst and worst.

After our great start everyone was saying how good our team defense was and that everyone has bought into Mike Woodson's coaching style. I have not seen that the past few games. I just had to vent cuz im very frustrated with Hawks basketball right now even with a 6-2 start, cuz I know we could easily and probably should be undefeated still. Please guys give me your comments and concers, and let me know if i have a legitamate concern or what!!!!

This is pretty much everyone's concern. The Atlanta Hawks have no interior defense, and games like this where no one on our team can guard a quick guard just makes me miss good ol', healthy Speedy Claxton. Not only that, but a rookie center made this team look atrocious. Zaza played with an injury, but that does not excuse him nor anyone else for how bad they played tonight. And don't even get me started on Devin Harris, a half limping player who could barely walk without wincing in pain... just owns us. Flip Murray plays defense way too loose at times where he needs to play much closer. But it's not his fault, no one on this team could of guarded Harris. It's pathetic.

Josh Smith is a big reason for the gaping whole on the interior and he covers alot of our team defensive flaws with his one man defense. Joe ha been playing good defense up until the past 2 games where he has been torched especially in crucial situations. I knew Josh would be missed but I never knew how important he was unti now, and I knew he was important before. I wish Zaza had knocked Devin out of the game when he fell down on him.

Also, am I the only one that thinks all the shots that Horford takes are absoultely atrocious?
