How about that Bibby v. T Lue matchup? Lue's defense makes Bibby's look like Josh Smith's.

Looking at the rest of the games Philly needs to turn things around during the second half and win at home against Orlando. Toronto should win a close one against Charlotte and later on I expect Portland to beat Miami.

Hawks did just enough to win. Nothing special about their play. Horford loves playing against these teams with soft bigs or no bigs.

I'm just glad that we won. We seem to be lacking something these days. Except for Horford, no energy. Hopefully J. Smith will bring some excitment when he's back. JJ isn't play at his level. He looks a bit out of sync. Anyway, we're still winning and that's what matters.

A bit of a lackluster game, but still a win. Bibby played well and hit some big shots. Solomon played with energy. Marvin had some spurts. Acie had some good offensive spurts against Lue. His confidence is improving. Horford easily dominated their Bogut-less front line. The only thing that could stop him was the refs whistle. What I really appreciate is that with Joe having tough nights offensively and Josh being out with injury the team is winning games with 5 guys in double figures. That's progress.

Tough two game road trip coming up. Toronto will be looking for payback and Washington is unpredictable. Washington being the second of back-to-backs on the road could be really dangerous if the team isn't up for it. I'm hopeful that the team can take 3 of the next 4 to be 12-6 before the early December Texas road trip.

This is how the wins will come without Josh. We are so lucky to be playing a crap schedule with him out. We aren't playing great ball but we're 9-5 and Smith is on his way back. This team still has a long way to go to prove they belong with the big boys.

I think we should give Joe a night off this weekend. He looks a little off out there, I think he might be hurting a little.

Not only have we played weak teams but they have also had key guys out. The Bucks were without Redd and Bogut. Charlotte was without JRich. Chicago was without Hinrich, Gooden and Hughes. Washington was without Arenas and Haywood and we play them again Saturday.

I have no problem accepting good luck because we have certainly had our share of bad luck and will have more no doubt.

JJ doesn't look right. i don't think he finished a shot inside last game. Going inside probably is a little tough if you are afraid of stepping on someones foot or getting hit. I know whenever i had a jammed finger it was always that finger that would get hit.

In his last two games JJ has 5 field goals and 14 assists so he is obviously trying to be a decoy to an extent. but we aren't going to beat good teams with JJ scoring 15 pts.
