Absolutely none. 'Toine is just a goofy novelty at this point. But I'm sure he'll latch on somewhere.

I would welcome back Toiney Toine in a heartbeat - if only for comedic purposes. He is a beautiful man.

I wonder who puts up worse shots - Toine or Josh Smith?

Is there some stat for shots that don't draw rim? Or shots that just thud off the backboard?

C'mon, y'all miss that Shimmie Shake. You know you do! Stop lying to yourselves!

Anybody remember the game (I think the Hawks were playing the Nets) where Employee #8 couldn't buy a free throw (was like 1-9 or something awful), and with the Hawks down by two with under a second left, he gets fouled, goes to the line... misses the first (no shock there), and (after a timeout where everyone in the Western Hemisphere knows he's supposed to miss the second FT for a chance at a tap-in) goes and swishes the second, nothing but net??? His teammates just rolled their eyes and the 3 Hawks fans at the game just threw their hands in the air.

(CORRECTION): I gotta do him justice by getting my story right! He was 6-10 from the charity stripe before the ill fated free throws, although I recall the four he missed were pretty ugly. It was everywhere else on the floor where his shot was a downright atrocity -- 3 for 18, including Bagel-for-6 from the 3-point line. An impressionable Josh Smith (2 for 7, but 1 of 2 from deep) was taking notes. The Hawks were down three (not two) and he did make the first shot to bring the Hawks within two.

The AP article read:
"Antoine Walker was so off-target that about the only shot he made was the one he was trying to miss intentionally."

"You can't miss a free throw too intentionally," Walker said.

'Twas a great time to be a Hawks fan, that 53-game 'Toine Era!
