I'm not sure what you're saying. I feel that the Hawks, as always, need veteran help.
I'd be ecstatic with trading the pick + Claxton to get an above average veteran big on a decent contract.
In the draft, I like Cole Aldrich and Darren Collison.

Re: Who's in the draft for us
I tried to find a decent big with a contract for 2011 that would fit. THere are so many teams that are trying to clear space for the 2010 offseason that I thought this might be a decent avenue since the Hawks aren't going to have any space anyway. But there just aren't any players that I can find that I would be interested in.

I think Kaman makes the most sense long-term.
But, I don't think the Hawks will take on 2010+ salary until JJ is extended.

Re: Who's in the draft for us
I don't think they could get Kaman without trading one of Smith or Horford.
Dalembert could likely be had and Speedy could go as part of that trade.
I just don't see who else is an option even if you take Speedy out of it. Say its Zaza + acie + the Hawks first rounder (Say lottery protected in case the team just tanks due to injury) what are some names you think you could get with that package? The other thing to keep in mind is that the Hawks have very little salary filler past that. Speedy is about the other other filler and thats a negative for a team taking him

Re: Who's in the draft for us
I like N. Collison from the Thunder. Even though he's a bit undersized, he can rebound, works hard on defense ( He's everything J. Smith isn't) and can play the 5. I'd love for us to get Kaman, but I trully do not think we're getting him. He makes more than we're willing to pay. Anyway, I thought the Hawks had a good chance at him before the Clippers traded for Z. Randolph. I'd sent J. Smith there in a heartbeat for the Clippers C, I had actually sent J. Smith to the Grizzlies for Gasol, I'd send him anywhere at this point. With either trade, we'd be a better team.
PG - M. Bibby
SG - JJ
SF - Marvin
PF - Al Horford
C - Gasol or Kaman.

Unless he is completely useless when he comes back from his injury, I'd want to sign Steven Hunter. I realize the injury is a concern, but I think we could get him cheap enough because of that injury, that it is worth the risk to sign him to a 2 year deal.

Re: Who's in the draft for us
. . . other available free agents this summer include Chris Anderson who might be the most underrated shot blocker ever, and Kwame Brown. Also both cheap additions I would pursue them in this order and would even consider signing 2 of them if I got them cheap enough:
1. Steven Hunter
2. Chris Anderson
3. Kwame Brown
I wouldn't mind re-signing Zaza for cheap rebounding either so long as it is cheap.

Chris Anderson has been phenomenal this season. Maybe its just because of the style of play out in Denver but he is going to get a nice contract from someone.

I've been saying that he was still a great shot blocker ever since he came back from his suspension from the league, but most people weren't that receptive to the idea of us signing him while he was super cheap.
