Hawks left after 1st QTR...

Post#1 » by ACE_reppin_ATL » Wed Feb 18, 2009 5:59 am

This is the 1st game of the 2nd half NOT the 1st game of the season...I'm really starting to get with fukkin PISSED with this lackluster offense...The Hawks have really been absolutely terrible at times offensively for the last 2 months and this is the wrong time to be out of sync so bad....Yes, this is the 1st game of the 2nd half of the season, but DAMN...Bad is Bad and Ugly is just UGLY....Bad shooting or injured players is one thing, but to allow 30+ rebounds to 2 specific players in one game is UNEXCUSABLE...I don't care if all the Lakers combined to grab 100 offensive rebounds, you can not let 2 players get 11 offensive rebounds, especially Odom to get 7!!! Pride has to kick in somewhere in a game like that...Seems like Mario, Zaza, and Solo were the only guys that didn't lay down....

The thing is, this is how the Hawks have played lately when a team makes a big run in a game or when Joe or Bibby struggles...The Hawks just kinda fold and go through the motions for a quarter or two, and then find themselves with an uphill battle game after game....Just PATHETIC!!!

Something needs to change!!!

Our offense definitely neds to be revamped.

Not exactly Woody's forte. It wont happen this year, but Woodson needs to be replaced by someone with an offensive philosphy who can utilize Bibby and Marvs midrange long range shooting.

a lot of things aren't working with this offense. first of all, josh smith takes way too many jump shots.the set plays are not ran smoothly.the players aren't being used to their strenght.we've got world class athletes.mike bibby is legendary for running pick and rolls. i need to see more of that.i wanna see marvin and josh smith around the basket more.I don't know if all that is mike woodson's fault but they need to go back to the drawing board.
