4/4 Magic @ Hawks

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Sat Apr 4, 2009 2:57 am

Here we go, another brutal game off a lost to Boston (in Boston), and Orlando just waxed Cleveland. I expect yet another lost, and the Sixers are playing the Pistons so are 4th place seed will shrink yet again. Whoever created this schedule should go to hell. From this point on loses no longer effect my moods and I can no longer expect a win with this team bc it is a forgone conclusion that this team can beat anyone and also lose to absoultely anyone. Until Joe plays like All Star he is, this team will struggle all the time, and also when Bibby is chunking up 21 fters in the face of a defender our offense will continue to look like the garbage haul it currently is. Our bench played horrible aside from Flip so I wouldd hope they rebound tomorrow. I would also like us to not shoot so many jumpshots. Though Josh took 3 3 pters and a few more jumpshots.I am dissapointed bc I think he thinks that he was hot after that amazing game in Philly, I will live with alot of those jumpshots as long as there in the flow of the game, bc i have once again come to realize that there is nothing I can do to prevent heaving up 16 fters.
I pray for a rebounding game. It would sure be a nice spark to my already great weekend.
Go Hawks!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Blah

I wish them the best, I sometimes wish the season was over already just to see what happens. I guess the Hawks are satisfied even though they won't say it.

With every loss the 4th seed which seemed like a lock becomes more in jeopardy. Some people may expect a hangover after their big win last night, I don't. I think Orlando covers and go with the over.

BTW, all 3 involved (in our playoff hunt) teams are in action today as Pistons visit the Sixers at 3pm (ESPN) and Heat visit the Wizards tonight at 7 pm (NBA TV). I think it is an Arenas game, so who knows. As for Pistons and Sixers, maybe mothballing AI will help the team focus. We need someone to trip up the Sixers or we need to handle our business in our next 3 winnable games (@Raptors, @Bucks, vs Indiana) to maintain a lead down the wire.

^^^I hear that.
102-84 Magic.

Those damn Sixers keep winning. Its looking more and more like were gonna meet them in the first round, and could lose to them easily, and if we keep sucking theyll get the homecourt advantage and then its almost a guarantee well get bounced. Why cant the playoffs just start?

I wonder when Dwight will get off the juice. Solo looks like a little kid trying to guard his dad, and what a suprise Joe wont assert himself at all.
The Magic sure are annoying, they have so many shooters, which compensates for the liabilites. I wish the Hawks were like that bc were riddled with flaws.

Courtney Lee is shutting down JJ one-on-one. That's disgusting.

WTF IS WRONG WITH JJ??? He needs to benched or bitchslapped, bc this is unacceptable.
Also, this team sure knows how to lose a lead.

^^^ Someone needs to tell it's not Joe it's not January anymore.

Not an encouraging performance. We just need to take care of business down the stretch and hold onto the fourth seed.

^^^Ya were gonna have to pray to keep ahold of that spot, which im starting to doubt we will. Either way, theses last couple of performances are leading me to beleive we could be very vulnerable even in the first round. But seriously Joe needs to be benched or he needs to cut down the shooting if he wants his team to win. If he doesnt wake up soon, we will be forced to watch this team gag away their season.
The last couple of games we have been good the first 3 quarters and then lose it in the 4th.

I remember some people around here saying the Hawks were better than the Magic not that long ago. Well, except for JJ over C. Lee, they're better than us in almost every position/aspect. Anyway, we do not have a set style like they do. Our rebounding looks horrible when we play fundamental based teams like that, I mean, I'd be so glad if we could just have home court and past the 1st round, but at this point, it's hard to believe that's going to happen.
GO HAWKS.

^^^ Orlando are a completely different team than last year. They have morphed into a fantastic defensive team somehow this season. You've got to give a lot of credit to SVG for that. If they had Jameer I think they definitely have a shot to take the EC.
