JJ picked the perfect superhero.
Randolph is (Please Use More Appropriate Word) though.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

^^^ Disagree with your take on Randolph's answer. The answer reveals quite a bit about Randolph and his personality. First, it reveals he's read a lot of comics, because that isn't a common answer. He knew that Martian Manhunter has a bunch of powers which is something that a reader picks up over time as they keep making him capable of more things. Second, while powerful and important to the Justice League, Martian Manhunter was always content to not stand out or seek acclaim (Randolph seems happy just being on the team and doesn't seem to strive to be #1). Third, the Martian Manhunter often uses his powers to hide in plain sight living out life as someone else (not uncommon for a 7 footer to fantasize about not sticking out). Extroverts would tend to choose Superman (really powerful, center of attention, universally loved). Introverts are more likely to identify with Martian Manhunter (almost as powerful, more solitary and hidden). The weird thing I find about identifying with Martian Manhunter is unlike Superman who has the weakness for something rare (kryptonite), the Manhunter's weakness of fire is pretty common.

Yes, I reveal a lot with my knowledge of the subject, but I ain't proud. I remember when they showed that segment at a game earlier this season thinking "damn, he must read a lot of comics." What I don't get is that no one answered Iron Man (Billionaire, playboy (unlike Batman, he actually closes the deal in bed), and super smart inventor) or Wolverine (deadly, vicious, cool) or Thor (God of Thunder and the fabulous hair). But I say that not being a big fan of Hulk (either I never felt powerless and abused or I just don't like the idea of losing all control including my mind).

The super mario answer was stupid.

Is Josh's kryponite coach woodson?

I agree about the man hunter one being solid. Yes he isn't a flash superhero but his powers are beastly.

evildallas doth protest too much, methinks.

Maybe he likes the Martian Manhunter because he's one of the few comic book heroes who has been portrayed as being black.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

:D Parson revealing some stuff about himself. A Smallville watcher maybe? Martian Manhunter was black on that TV show, but in the comics, he's green and well since he's a shapeshifter he's been a bunch of different alter egos including a female at one point. One of the alter egos could have been black, but it wasn't his primary which was a white detective in Colorado. I could go into the list of black superheroes, but I've already revealed that I'm enough of a geek that I'll I never get any street cred back and I don't buy into race playing a major role in identifying with a superhero.

I have sons who are hugely into computer programming and video graphic design, so I'm surrounded by the stuff.

I guess I know just enough to put my foot in my mouth, huh?
