I'm sorry, I wasn't done on the subject...
I am not surprised that Wade is coming out today and saying all this. In our pickup games we call this a loser's lament. Just shut up and play game 6.
I have also heard today that this dunk will give Miami the extra motivation they need to come out and defend homecourt tomorrow and run us out of the gym. All I have to say about that is that if Miami needs more motivation than this being an elimination game for them in front of their home crowd, then I have no idea why they are even in the playoffs. How can anyone be more motivated to win a game than knowing that if they lose they won't get to play anymore for six months or so?
Ridiculous...

I agree with you, that the Heat shouldn't need extra motivation. But we have a ton of young guys, that are playing soft for the Heat. Wade is trying to just put extra emphasis on it. Because he might come out full force, but if his happy go lucky teammates take the same lay back, is just another game approach, we are toast. You have to find ways to juice this guys, to put in the extra work, sad, but true.
And it also seem Wade probably was responding to a reporters question, by the fact they added words to his comment, he wasn't really complaining, he just responded to how the question was presented.

Wade is just trying to get his team motivated and maybe put some pressure on the Hawks. I COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT HE THINKS ABOUT IT THOUGH. Smith went for the dunk, he missed, that's it. GET OVER IT. I never liked Wade very much but I'm glad he's been booed every time he touches the ball at Philips Arena. If there's a game 7, I'll scream the hell out of my lungs whenever he touches the ball.
GO HAWKS.

Re: Wade doesn't like theatrics
what the hell is wrong with celebrating, yeah the missed dunk was uncaled for but, whats wrong with celebrating a win? the nba is called classy,i sayy the nba doesnt like routyness, sorry but blayers like to celebrate after a win if its beating their chest,im sick of the word classy, first the dress code now this, let them play, this is the playoffs, and as for the anouncers they are both wade haters, and i know wade will light the hawks up.

The best thing to do in this situation is to blow they azz out of the gym tonight and let him think about how professional that is. Everybody knows that he does some of the same things on the court and by him saying the hawks should act like they been there, he makes himself sound stupid seeing as though THESE havks haven't been there in this situation before up 3-2 in a close out situation. Do him a favor and allow him to just drive home after this game for his summer break then move on to the mouth that is MO WILLIAMS.

this might bit me on the as, but i don't think this is the right thing for Wade to say at this time, not a good time to critize the other team........
i think it would be better if Wade did what Bird did and criticize his own teammates after a bad playoff lose.
