I'm going to wait for the chalk outline to be drawn around the Hawks body before I start dwelling on this sort of stuff.

not really fair to evaluate the hawks exclusively against the cavs. Because the hawks are so beat up and playing the best team in the league. ofcourse they are going to look bad.

Bibby would be a perfect compliment next to a Wade, Lebron, Kobe, etc. But with Joe its just a trainwreck. the hawks ahve no good distrbuters. Joe gets alot of assist for a sg but mostly because he is just a huge ballhog and its hard not to rack up stats when you hog as much as him.

getting a good pg that could distribute would do wonders. Marvin desperately needs more touches. and hopefully the bigs will get better looks so they wont have to settle for horrible jumpshoots so much.

i wouldnt mind ditching Joe in 2010 in exchange for any other star. i do not like him.

In my opinion this team can only succeed with Bibby if we have bigger bigs (pause) in the middle. Because we have a smaller front court we need a PG that can stop the ball from getting into the paint which puts pressure on our front court because they have to help off their men whom they are already at a disadvantage with. If we had a PG that could stop the ball on one side it would allow our bigs to play their guys straight up. On the other side our PG has to have the ability to penetrate. It benefits our roster because he draws defenders toward the paint which leaves Joe and Marvin open for better shots and it benefits our bigs because if their man helps off them they are quick and athletic enough to make it a nightmare for them to recover back on defense.
