But not returning to school either. He's signing with Panathinaikos of the Greek league.

I posted the notice to it because some people have mentioned him as a possibly liking him in the draft.

I think he will probably remain in the draft and will go early in the second round. Its actually a pretty smart move- if he ever decides to come over he won't be bound by the rookie scale. too bad- I think he would have been a great pick. With Dejuan Blair looking to go before the Hawks pick I need to find someone else I hope the Hawks take. Maybe Gerald Henderson but it still looks like he will go earlier.

Not that it means anything, but 2 of the 4 HoopsWorld writers are projecting Henderson at 19 now (1 Maynor and 1 Teague). It's the lowest I've seen Henderson projected so far.

Calathes may not drop at of the 1st. He's a good candidate for a late 1st rounder if you want to stash the contract in Europe for a couple years. A standard technique of some cap strapped teams. What I should have said is that Calathes should be off the Hawks list since we need players to fill out a roster we aren't likely to store another player abroad right now.
