Marvin William for Rudy Gay

Post#1 » by geeman » Sun May 31, 2009 8:02 pm

I know they play the same poistion, there games a very deferent. Marvin I beleve would be a better
Pf in this NBA once he grows into his body and he's develeping a go inside/outside game. Rudy is more of a open court guy that we could uses at the 2/3 slots and he maybe expendable with OJ Mayo. I think this trade would be win/win, it may also help use looking foward if joe decides to leave after 2010. And he would me another guy who could get to the line by attacking the rim!!!

marvin williams can attack the rim.

Do you forget that when Joe was out, marvin had 14 FTA and 20 FTA?

Marvin williams would put up rudy gay numbers if he was on a bad team that gave him the shot attempts that gay gets. Gay scored 5 more points than marvin on 6 more shot attempts a game

I dont think Gay is a better player in any way

Not better - Just different type of a player. Marvin is a big dude! I see him at 250 and he can play with his back to the rim and would be a great post passer, but we have so many 6'9 PF's I think it would be win/win for both teams. I think there playing Darrell Arthur/Hakim Warrick at PF!! Again
Win/Win for both teams!!
