Pistons #15 and Amir Johnson ????

that'll give you good potential and another first round draft pick on top of the one you already have.

^^^ Not enough and unsure how it works with the cap (when is Detroit considered under the cap? 7/1?) A move like that would be a definite sign of great financial distress in Atlanta. It would likely create a domino effect resulting in the trading of Joe by the trade deadline.

Off-season is so silly. Chad Ford reports that sources in the league say that Josh is being shopped. A lot of people pointed that Chad Ford has no sources for inside info in the ATL. Slam reports that Josh must approve any trade prior to 8/15, which is the rule as a matched offer sheet player. Maybe Josh would approve some trade destination, but I doubt the Hawks are actually shopping him when it could blow up in their face (see Jay Cutler).

Mark Bradley proposes the Wizards would want to get younger although everything points to them having a win now focus.

Another rumor is leaked that Minnesota wants to trade their pick and their franchise player, Al Jefferson, who is under contract for another 4 years for a guy who can opt out at the end of the year and walk for nothing in Amare Stoudamire.

Yet story comes out that the Pistons promise to pay Ben Gordon $11M a year although contact like by a team comes with a very steep penalty from the league office.

I know this is the time of wild rumors but stuff is showing up in paid columns that has the validity, level of research, and feasibility equivalent to the ramblings of exuberant 5th grade fan on a message board. It's getting harder to separate any real information from the sea of drivel that pollutes the web, sports talk, and even sports networks this time of year.
