Rubio?

Post#1 » by betta1 » Sat Jun 27, 2009 4:11 am

If Minny really is looking to move him, I hope that Sund's doing his due diligence and throwing some feelers out there. What could we offer?

Chilz?
Teague?
Future picks?
Anderson?

Slim pickings it seems. Still, I wish/hope that the Hawks at least are giving it a shot. I would love to have him be our PG of the future.

not going to happen...

BUT if it did..

Il easily give up Marvin and Teague

and for the first time in a while, the Hawks would finally have a PLAYMAKER PG...(should just have picked maynor instead of Teague IMO)

no need to even keep this open, it will never ever happen!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Wolves fan here.

I'll tell you, you might be shocked. The wolves board has been overrun with ridiculous knicks and clippers fans with some of the most embarrassing trades I've ever seen. I would expect that the Hawks might be able to offer a much better package than the knicks, at least.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

^^^ I can just imagine. We can in theory (it'd have to be a sign & trade), but I doubt our front office has any intention of doing so. We'd have to change our offense to make good use of Rubio and while it may be interesting to dream about it is also very unlikely to ever happen.

If the Clippers actually offered Eric Gordon and your pick back, that isn't a bad trade. I'd see if they were willing to include Thornton as well to see if they were serious about Rubio love. The thing is them acquiring Rubio without getting rid of Baron Davis would result in chemistry meltdown. I can't imagine the Knicks having anything to offer. I mean Wilson Chandler? S&Ts of Nate Robinson or David Lee? Please. They can't even offer a pick because of the one they owe Utah. I'd let Rubio stay in Europe for a few years rather than justify any of that crap.

interesting, i'm not a Rubio fan, but i do know he has alot of hype.

ATL gets: Kaman, and Jordan
ATL gives: Marvin

MIN gets: Marvin
MIN gives: Rubio, and Cardinal

LAC gets: Rubio, and Cardinal
LAC gives: Kaman, and Jordan

i also beleive that the Kings' shocker pick in Evans caused the Wolves to make a shocker pick themselves. I think the Wolves wanted Harden or Evans or a SF with Flynn.

their also might be an ATL/MIN/GSW trade that might work, that has Andris Biedrins involved.
