I have always thought that a S&T with New Jersey makes so much sense that I cannot understand why we have not done yet. New Jersey is in need of wing players but have a lot of post players that is exactly what we lack.

What about a S&T Childress for Josh Boone??? That would simply be wonderful for both teams. Atlanta gets his so much needed big that is not going to play on NJ and NJ gets his starting SF. Thoughts?

Clippers Get: Green/Watson
Clippers Give: Kaman/Thornton

Thunder Get: Kaman/Childress (S&T)
Thunder Give: Green/Watson/Atkins/Wilkins

Hawks Get: Thornton/Atkins/Wilkins
Hawks Give: Childress (S&T)

I would do this deal in a heartbeat. Thornton alone is worth Chilldress, and when you factor in that he's on a rookie contract and Atkins and Wilkins expire this year, it's a no-brainer.

I have a question about Josh Childress: I know he's long and fairly athletic....but how are his defensive abilities?

He is a stronger defender with a bright basketball IQ. In my opinion he is more of a defense threat than an offensive threat, even though he can shoot.

Completely disagree. Chill was a complete liability on defense during his time here. Not to mention his absolutely dreadful defensive rebounding numbers.
