I was more shocked by the Chills comments @ the top than the Marbury comment... Then I remembered the source. Isn't this the same site that insisted that we'd trade Marvin for cash? Or was that a different site out of Boston? Anyway, I doubt that Chills bites on any offer < $2 mil, but at least he's not alone on that list of wistful thinking.

So it kind of brings the credibility of the source into serious ?. They obviously aren't a publication that actually knows much about the NBA, just willing to be a source that some some GM or agent wants to get out there. I agree to Marbury to ATL makes sense (we've focused on scoring this off-season and we still would like a PG that can dole out assists), but I doubt that happened... well, at least not any more than a vet's mini to be the #15 guy on the roster. But it may help an agent trump up some interest in his client to attach a few team names that are sniffing around his client...

I'm with rak. Marbury is a cancer. Every team does better once he's gone. Teams pay him to stay away.

No thanks
