He was a lazy ass who was scared someone would pass him the ball. The only good thing about him was the fact he helped us get JJ.

yes, he was a very good defender. as a rookie he shut down Carmelo.
Hawks forced Diaw to play SF, but the times he was at PF he was a very good post defender, getting alot of nice blocks and rebounds.
but even with that said, Josh Smith was miles better, so that unfortunately made Diaw expendable.
