To many jumpshots by Smoove. Finish this off. Dont get lulled into the iso game. Create for others please.
PS Magic lost to the Grizz tonight.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

The Hawks recent play has been encouraging. I thought there was no way they'd stay alive for the 3 seed after those embarrassing Miami/Orlando/NY losses but the effort has gone way up since that 2nd half comeback vs Boston.

Horford needs to stop trying to back people down. Nice 3s by Marvin.

No, Horford needs to stop trying to back down the best post defender in the NBA.

Woodson finally decides to have Horford back down someone twice in a row and chooses Hayes to do it against. LOL. This **** works!

Yeah no question they have played well these last two games.

Smith had a nice statline tonight, 22/10 with 4 steals and 4 blocks. I could live without those jumpers though but if he didn't take any dumb jumpers i would think it must be an imposter wearing #5.

Very nice win to go on the road vs a western conference team over 500, and win with relative ease. Josh was great, and able to get out on fastbreaks where he is strongest and finish. It's very encouraging to see the Hawks beat good teams on the road.

Two Things:

We took over the Southeast last night.

Atlanta 29 14 .674 --
Orlando 29 16 .644 1.0

Woody's eyebrows went MIA

Hawks coach Mike Woodson showed up on Monday with his eyebrows inexplicably shaved off. He would not reveal the reason.
Some speculated he lost a bet on the Saints game, but even the Hawks players weren't sure why he did it. The link below includes a truly hilarious picture of Woodson wearing Velcro eyebrows that Josh Smith had pasted to his forehead. Link

We played the Houston Rockets and no one commented on us going up against David Andersen?

How about that line for him? 15 min, 2 pts......totally overmatched IMO.

I call that a good move by Sund simply for getting anything for him. I would not want to pay him 7.2M for 3 years.
