Who would get the call as All-Star alternate?

Post#1 » by evildallas » Sat Jan 30, 2010 11:20 am

Of course it might depend on whom is injured and in need of replacement, but if a replacement is needed, who do you think the league would name as 1st replacement in the East?

This isn't necessary who you think deserves it or hopes get added (or that would probably be Josh), but who the league would actually name. Feel free to work in any politics, conspiracy theories, statistical justification or logic to make your case.

For the choices I've included Josh and Jamal of course, O'Neal and Carter to give an opportunity for a 2nd representative for Cleveland and Orlando respectively, Stephen Jackson because of the impact he's had on Charlotte, Lee because of his stats on a losing team and being a media darling, Noah because some felt he deserved to represent Chicago, and finally Bogut and Jamison for their strong stats on losing teams. I didn't list Brandon Jennings because after such a fast start he's cooled off a bit and they tend to not reward rookies with All-Star nods. If you think I missed the likely top candidate please choose that and elaborate in a post.

Thanks for your participation in this survey.

David Lee, because of the attention the Knicks are constantly getting from the mainstream media.

Stern would go for the ratings and put in Lee.

Crawford is 6th man of the year. But dont take away from him all-star either he's having a all-star year and should have been picked over Iverson who has no all-star stats and derrick rose who just came back from injury and team has a loosen record Jamal got snubbed even paul pierce and a few other guys said it..

If 2 Hawks were not already in it, id say Josh. but Id say Lee since Joe and Al are already in. Really both deserves to be an all-star.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
