The best NBA playoff series that we won't see this season will be between the Atlanta Hawks and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

When you watch as many NBA games as some of us do, it's often hard to get excited about one regular season game. But after watching some of the established powers limp through some lousy games with semi-injured and aging players over the last few weeks, watching the Hawks – Thunder is like going from the portable black and white garage TV to full-color wide screen HD. And it makes you salivate of the possibilities of seeing these two teams go at it for seven games.
