Seems like we've split the last 4-5 seasons with them.

LOL I was just fixing to ask when was the last time we'd walked off victorious in Utah, I knew it was when Nique was still athletically a WOW! But couldn't remember exactly, I had just graduated High School, Damn! :o

They're coming off a come from behind win in Portland in OT after trailing by at least 25 at 1 point and 13 heading into the 4th while the Hawks as you know blew a 17 point lead in the 4th in Golden State.

Yeah, i like our odds too.

This is one of those games you want to be over before tip off. After what transpired last evening I am not at all excited about our chances of beating a dominant home team that is also one of the the hottest squads in the NBA.

Andrei Kirilenko left last nights game with back spasms and most likely won't play tonight. Mehmet Okur will return but his minutes could be limited depending on how he does.

We just need to come out with a different mindset and put last night behind us. We are officially playing below .500 basketball on the road.

Our pg play has to be at a high level in order for us to win. If Bibby is not effective early, Woody should roll with the "rook". I mean he cant do any worse. Teague has the ability to get to the rim and draw fouls if nothing else, Bibby will not go near the rim if he can help it. Yes, Teague will make some mistakes, but just hope that he learns from them and tries to make up for them also. Go Hawks!

This is one of the biggest games I think. Off a very disappointing loss to a inferior team this game will show us if we actually have matured. If we come out flat and get waxed I will so disappointed.
Why is Deron not playing?
One thing I dont understand and never will is why we iso Marvin.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Ya i know. Its a foul if you use your strength to back a smaller guy down. That guys a moron. Keep the starters out. Our bench is getting absolutely molested.

Quick points.
Nice to see sets run nearing the end of the game. JJ is stepping up. Bench play is becmong more and more of a problem outside of Jamal.
I dont care that they were down there best player we got the W at a tough arena.

I'm happy the Hawks didn't mail it in but this is a game they are supposed to win vs a depleted Jazz team.

The Hawks could really use a reserve other than Mario West that can actually get a defensive rebound once in a while.

Glad we came out with something to prove tonight. But it's hard to be pleased with beating a depleted Utah team after last night's debacle. We still have a long way to go, but I'm relieved that we managed to salavage a split from this road trip.

JJ bailed the Hawks out. Not an impressive performance though with Deron and AK out. The Hawks defensive rebouding is near the bottom of the league now.

Bibby sucked as usual.

Not impressive, but a quality win nonetheless. Depleted teams often step up if they run a good system (like Utah). If it wasn't for the blown game at Golden State we'd be calling this a great road trip.

Woodson still needs to figure out a way to utilize the bench without suffering 20 point swings. Maybe we can go to a full 2nd unit and always keep 2-3 starters on the floor because going to 1 or no starters leaves us too vulnerable.

One more point. Josh took 3 jumpers tonight maybe 4 and made only 1. His FG% could be so much higher if he avoided those like a chick with aids.

^^^ I believe Josh was 2-for-4 on jump shots, hitting on his first jump shot of the game and also his final one.

Really nice gut check win coming off the worst loss of the season, shows me that this team has a great fight and passion about it. Even without Deron & Kirlenko that team is a system squad where you can sometimes plug mediocre players in their positions and not miss much especially in Salt Lake. I can live with Josh taking a max of 5 jumpers a game.No 3's allowed.
