i don't think somebody would overpay Jermaine this summer, so his decision might be based on location. in addition, Jermaine also does okay against Dwight.

i do think that somebody will overpay for Camby. if Camby and Brad Miller are too high, could O'Neal be an option for the Hawks?

I could be interested in him for a more reasonable number. Problem is, I'm not sure that Woody really likes to utilize his bench to any extent. He himself stated that he is trying to shorten his bench like he attempted in a bad loss to Phoenix.
O'Neal might be a good reinforcement if he can be convinced to contribute off the bench.

If we resign Joe, we won't realistically have room under the luxury tax to add anyone greater than league minimum. If we don't resign Joe we'll have about 6M in cap room and multiple needs. O'Neal is a questionable investment because you don't know which Jermaine you'll get. If he goes for close to Minimum or for the BAE, I say sure, but I don't think he'll fall that far salary-wise yet.

If we keep Joe, I think JO may be a center that could give us ~20 min of solid play. And if Josh could improve his 15 foot jumper, we could slide him to the 3 20 min per and bring marvin off the bench.
