All I'm asking is that the Hawks don't turn the ball over or shoot before there's 2 seconds left on the clock.

Smith shouldn't be standing at the 3 point line in a tie game.

The Hawks deserve to lose considering how stupid they have been. Josh Smith from the perimeter on the last shot?

Hawks managed their offensive possessions like idiots after they went up 3. Why did they let the shot clock run out to shoot a heavily contested mid range shot when only up 1?

Because they have an idiot for a coach. That is why the team plays dumb basketball.

Also...the game should have never came down to the last shot. The Hawks just held the ball 45 feet away from the basket on about 4 straight plays before that jumper by Joe.

Whew huge shot by JJ. He had a nice game after his 0-9 start.

that was much harder than it should have been. The Hawks just make dumb mistake after dumb mistake late in games.

Marvin had 14 rebounds and no turnovers.

I really hope Bibby doesn't revert back to his 4 and 1 type games while the other teams point guard is scoring at will.

This team is just going through the motions right now. Someone needs to explain to them that they are clearly nowhere as close to being as good as they seem to think. We were playing winning basketball based on our toughness, intensity, and composure. Those elements have vanished from every player save Smoove.

I feel Horford brings that night in night out. Am I wrong in saying that?

Im confused. Superstars no matter what, dont take 3.5 quarters to score there first basket, but superstars also step up in the clutch. Joe did both of those tonight. How confusing. Good win. Sloppy win. Didnt deserve to win, but we won. Ill take it.

They need to have a team meeting or something to regain what they once had.

Is it just me or is Josh not committed to the boards for 48? When he wants to he can rebound like a man. Frustrating.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

HAWKS BENCH = THE DIFFERENCE.

Hawks bench carried the team in the first half. They actually outscored the starters
and played with the energy that the starters lacked. Great bench play made the
difference in the entire game.

Had it not been for the bench play in the 1st half, there would have been no overtime
and no game winning shot from JJ. The Bobcats would have ran away and left the Hawks
in their dust.

Kudos to our bench!!

Atlanta

It looked like the arena was full from watching it at my house, but 17,697?

Of our probable first round opponents, we've got 2 teams that we beat in OT at home and a team that we've lost multiple times to this year. Not exactly awe inspiring track record there.
