How is it a strawman? Efficiency =/= volume =/= most importantly, consistency. A good offense is a culmination of all those things.

So yes, I did not phrase those parts well, and I will admit that we score more 4th quarter points than I thought, but the lack of consistent, efficient, high volume scoring in the 4th quarter is a bane to this team.

Like I predicted- once you got one stat that you asked for but it didn't agree with your preconceived notions then you would just say that wasn't good enough and ask for something else. You don't like efficiency so I gave you PPG. If I got you the median and that came out fine then you would want something else. This is just something you have come to believe like a religion and there is no evidence that I could show you that would change your mind.

What's the difference between how we played tonight in the 4th quarter and how we played last game in the 4th?

I have no doubt that if I looked up that stat to show htat it was better than you thought that you would just pull something else out of thin air that was suddenly more important than THAT stat.

I only need to see three stats: the distribution of 4th quarter points, and the distribution of time spent in Joe or Jamal's hands, and then the statistical relationship between the two.

Any sources of this data? I have no issues with doing the analysis myself.

LOL- good luck with that. I'm not sure the Hawks themselves have access to that level of detail.
