Also, Woodson is a Brown disciple. If you are looking for a change make a real change. Don't shop in the same branch. Brown is better than Woodson, but we need different.

Woodson is an apprentice of Larry, but that doesn't mean he is as good as Larry. Brown does something that all great coaches do, they make adjustments as the game goes on, which is some that Woodson is notorious for not doing, especially on the offensive end. Larry also has a way of making guys play team ball on the defensive and offensive end, their is no way that anybody can say that Woodson is a guy who teaches how to play team ball on the offensive end.

Lakers were are a whole lot better than the Pistons, but Brown was able to make the most of what he had. Hawks are no where near what that Pistons team was, but the same goes for the Magic and that Lakers team.

I give you that Brown is better than Woodson, but that doesn't mean I would want him coaching a team I cheer for or have season tickets to. I've not forgetting the embarrassing job he did as Olympic coach or the debacle of the Knicks. If the Hawks managed to hire him I would regret that I paid for a ticket next year already. I dislike Larry Brown that much.

As far as just this series, Brown's Charlotte team was swept by Orlando in series 1. It's true they didn't have a 43 point beat down, but they lost every game. I would argue that Charlotte is better constructed to face the Magic than the Hawks are. More people to throw at Dwight and a PG that can penetrate match up a little better. Could Brown beat the Magic with the Hawks when he couldn't with the Bobcats? I say no. Brown might be able to get them to listen to them as he never stays long enough for players to start ignoring him and that would help. I just don't think this is the team to beat the Magic in a series this year. They don't function well enough together or consistently enough. Our team leader can spot the flaws in other players but seems oblivious the his own flaws. Our best all-around player isn't as good as he thinks he is and gets derailed too quickly.

... maybe he can manage to loose by only 10 points and not 43 ;)

CHA lost by a total of 37pts... in 4 games !!! and they lost it in the fourth most of the time
ATL lost by 43pts in 1 game.

When you think that ATL is supposed to be better than CHA, at least in head to head...
they were on the verge to win 2 of the 4 games (1 and 3) and were led by only 10 points in the last minutes of games 2 and 4.

Let's see what Woody can do now.

of course the Hawks are better than the Cats and by alot, Hawks are better at every position. the Cats are pretty much two legit starter, Jackson and Wallace, and a bunch of scrubs. the only reason why the Hawks/Cats games were so close, was because Larry Brown is alot better than Woodson. if Larry brown didn't coach this year, the Cats would be a lottery team.

Maybe a bunch of scrubs, but who seems to have some heart and to have some better BBIQ than ATL players.

At the end, it could made two sweep for ORL, but the difference is impressive.
CHA was on the verge of wining two of the four games, and they did not loose by 20, 30 or 40 pts in the other two, and played like a playoffs team.

i really do credit that to Larry Brown, beside the whole NY thing, his teams (Indy, Phily, CHA and Detriot) do play with alot of heart and above average basketball IQ
