IF we could get Harris in here that would be a HUGE upgrade. This guy is the real deal and could make us a MUCH better team. I'm not sure what it would take to get him though, If we could somehow trade Marvin and a pick or something for him that would be great and then keep JJ as well. Sign a SF in the FA to replace Marvin or bring Childress back.

Over the next three years Devin Harris is owed.

8,981,000
9,319,000
8,500,000

Mike Bibby needs to be moved, so we can have some flexibility, and to upgrade other areas of the team if we acquired Devin Harris. We need another big man that we can count on and so we can attempt to stay competitive with Orlando.

I have my doubts about Joe Johnson being here if we acquired Devin and Joe could very well be involved in the S&T to acquire him. My problem with the 2 is the lack of size we'd have there if Joe Johnson is gone. I like a big 2 guard and we had that with Joe who is listed at 6-7, 240.

The Nets have no guarantee they are in the top draft slot yet.

Its very premature to consider that a billionaire owner is willing to part with an experienced PG.
Harris is very good and might be a piece that LeBron wouldn't mind having in place if he goes to NJ.

Lots of variables, and we also have 2 PGs that apparently not many are in favor of here.

I don't think we can move Bibby (if I'm wrong, great) because of lack of market. Bibby's role needs to be changed, but I would be content to limit his minutes for this season and then jettison him as an expiring contract when it won't matter that he's lost a full step.
