Wouldn't this be ideal for the Hawks??

Trade involving NJ/Lakers where the Lakers get Devin Harris and YI cause they need that PG for the future. ATL decides Josh Smith unfortunately is the out man in the PF scheme to get a true center in here to combat against Howard so they trade him to NJ. The Lakers have to compensate ATL now so they give in on Bynum.

ATL gets the ideal center to combat Howard or whoever and instantly becomes a better team. We S&T Marvin Williams for VIP passes to Magic City and Woodson is replaced by Hubie Brown's alter Ego and were set to ride off into the distance. :D

I like you optimism, but we have issues to address with this roster, and not sure how much they are really worth on the open market.
- Sund has to find out who is going to offer JJ, then match it, and move him.
- Smoove is tough to figure out, but I would be glad to give him another shot under a different coach.
- The next coach will have to have an offensive mentality about him unlike our current schemes, which is 2 man basketball most of the time.
- Bibby isnt going to be able to help us much going forward, and with Teague taking his role, we have him coming off the bench. Not a good place to be in. Bibby gets $12M for his limited role. Nice.
- But first thing; we need a leader for this ballclub. on the bench and on the court. There are very few out there.

The Lakers trading Bynum would be extremely stupid. Kobe and Artest have the accolades but he's their most important defender.

The Lakers are better off keeping Bynum and just adding a point guard that can bring the ball up the court without turning it over. The frontcourt on the Lakers is set and needs to stay that way for the next few years. As of right now the Lakers are the team to beat and they need to avoid making over the top trades.

PG is not that important in the triangle. There is no way the Lakers trade Bynum at this point unless they know something bad about his health. Bigs are too hard to replace.

Hell, ideally I'd like to get Devin Harris and Brooke Lopez from NJ and keep them here.

That's the center we need to combat Howard, the PG and scorer we need to orchestrate the offense. (Plus Devin Harris has plenty of playoff experience from his Dallas days. Moving him allows NJ to hand the franchise over to John Wall at PG next season.)

Note: Brooke Lopez averaged more PPG, RPG and BPG than Bynum and is probably the 2nd best Center in the Eastern Conference. THAT would be ideal.
