Now thqt we have the cap numbers....

League just announced 2010-11 cap set at $58.044 mil and luxury tax level is at $70.307 mil. MLE=$5.765 mil

1) Trades aside, it sounds like Sund currently has 2 transactions:

- getting a roster slot filled with the MLE
- Does Chills end up returning to the NBA and provide us some compensation.

I don't see us just adding Chills after drafting JordanCraw and having JamalCraw coming off the bench.

Smoove
Horford
Williams
Johnson
Teague
Bibby
Zaza
JamalCraw
JordanCraw
Evans

While it looks like a now fairly deep team, we do have room for another big man and potentially a PG.
Teague is still a huge question mark.

Pretty shocked by those numbers - I figured we'd be closer to the 56.01/65-ish that had been speculated.

I don't see us expecting anything out of Jo Crawford right now. Maybe in a year or 2, sure, but not now. I don't see our drafting of him affecting the decision on Chills @ all. Our efforts to trade Marvin and/or Bibby would be the big deciders on what we do with Chills. I am interested to see if we're willing to take on the $$ for matching or SNT'ing Chills though, even if we don't trade Bibby or Marvin.

I do think we're happy to go into the season with thinking that Teague will get regular rotation minutes @ PG. I guessing 24 or thereabouts. It wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade Bibby to someone we'd be more inclined to give more minutes if Teague struggles, but I wouldn't see it as a priority.

As you say though, the MLE "True C" and Chills situation remain priorities 1 and 2 in some order. The rest are more or less adjustments...

Supposedly it also means that if JJ will still get the full max it will now be $127 million, according to John Hollinger.
