I think the Knicks would do a Joe trade with no problems. I think Dantoni has a dream of getting Amare, Joe, and Nash in NYC in 2011.

No chance that they would trade for Joe now that they ahve dreams of getting Carmelo.

Maybe unless it's not for their expiring, allowing them to keep Stoudemire, get Joe, then sign Anthony next summer.
Don't know if they would include Felton, because he has a big contract that fits a trade for salary like Joe has (added to other players), but he's also a PG they need.

Would they do Joe and filler for Turiaf+Mozgov+Azubuike+Chandler or Randolph ? I doubt it.

Maybe the only possibility would have been if Teague had shown something with Joe+Teague for Felton and others.
Sure that if they can get a good player now, it won't be for Curry as main piece.

No offense, but I imagine you'd trade Arenas for just about anything in order to get rid of him and his contract.

Right now I'd trade Joe for a bag of Corn Chips and a Cherry Cola. His play has been horrendous this year hurt hand or not. Send Marvin with him or to Greece. Til this day i still wish it was Marvin instead of Childress that went to Greece.

No offense taken. :)

Contrary to popular belief, the Wiz aren't desperate to trade Gil.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they would consider trading him if the right deal came along but its not a necessity.

He's playing well, being a great teammate and his contract isn't a hinderance on the cap

In fact, the Wiz can afford a max deal in the near future even with him on the roster.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

That's right that at least Childress is making impact when on the floor with PHX.
The only one really making impact for ATL are Hoford, Smith and Bibby even with his lack of defense.
I looked at the +/-, and saw that Bibby played almost all of his minutes with Joe and are at +54pts, but on the 16min without Joe, he keep his impact and he's at +11pts.
Joe played 130min without Bibby, and he's at -88pts

It's like last year, but worse. Joe can't produce without Bibby, while Bibby can produce without Joe.
And Crawford is in the same situation with +58pts in 260min without Bibby and +18pts in 125min with him.
Now, maybe the guys wanting to dump Bibby for expiring need to think it twice.

We got new offense, but Joe and maybe more with Jamal are the one getting more problem.
One got extended, the other is waiting for it, and only waiting, but both are ISO players (Joe was not so much with PHX) who doesn't succeed to play well.

We are beating opponent when Bibby is on court at PG, and as soon as Jamal or Teague are playing PG, we are loosing.
Maybe we should try Jordan Crawford at PG (to evaluate him right now) instead of Jamal or Teague.
The only hope is now that Pape Sy would be the real steal and can play PG in the long term, and start to play before Bibby's impact is dead, but at this moment, it's a big "if".

I would keep Horford, Smith and Bibby as good backup PG, but trade anybody else if it can improve the team.

In all honesty no one right now want's Joe. Not his play, Not his contract. He has to play like he's worth the money.

I haven't really been paying attention to the Hawks but Is Johnson playing that badly?

Look at his stats and tell me that the highest paid player in the NBA shouldn't be crucified for this type of production?? http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/366/joe_johnson/

Joe is hurt. Good grief, it happens. If Horford stepped on a tack, should we trade him?

OR ... do we wait for him to get healthy?

The REAL problem is not Joe, it's Joe's injury, multiplied by Crawford's problems, multiplied by our lack of a playmaker.

As a Mavs fan I wouldn't hate a Kidd + Caron for Johnson trade. Caron's an expirer and Kidd has 8.5 mil left next year.
There'd probably have to be some extra moving parts.

Outside of Cuban I'm not really sure who else would take on that contract haha.
You never know tho. I didnt think there was any way Turk or Maggette were movable without being tied to anyone else and they were both traded this offseason

So yeah Dirk realistically only has another couple more years left at this level and I hope Cuban goes down swinging.

Everyone can say Joes Hurt..or blah blah blah. Then his old ass should sit. Stop chucking shots left and right. Looks like he's building a brick house out there. Second. His play making is pretty horrid as well. Holds the ball, then dishes it or shots it.

IMO Areanas, Maggete, Deng so on are better than Joe right now.

I guess only time could tell. But again, this isn't how the highest paid basketball player should play. Looks like he's hurting your team more than helping.
