Nevertheless I will be very surprised if we lose due to poor effort... we might lose, but it won't be because of effort.

Sorry, I get a little crazy when it comes to this team. It really frustrates me.

Lol, I like your avatar.

You guys mind if a Miami Heat fanpost within this thread for tonight's game? :)

Go ahead. There prob wont be much activity in this thread though.

The Heat look different. That could be a product of playing the Hawks. Who knows.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

3 things.

I cant believe they just called a goal tending on the God that is LeBron

Horford needs more touches and needs to not benched in the 1st half bc he has 2 fouls

What has happened to Joshs rebounding?

I have to say, it does feel good that the Heat look like they are starting to click together now!

Poor first half, so we'll see how we fair during the second half.

We don't rebound the ball well enough to challenge the Heat. Not sure if it's attitude or ability or both.

Get it done. If Teague isnt gonna get some time we should dump him for someone who can help us.

When the Heat are giving a team problems on the glass, you have problems.

Is Al Horfords mid range shot one of the most reliable shots in the game? Im shocked any time he misses. Its unreal.

Must of been attitude because they improved it that quarter.

Also good to see Damian contributing. Especially considering how long it's been advocated on this board that the Hawks get him.

Damien Wilkins has impressed me so far in his 3 quarter sample size defensively. Makes LeBron look REALLY uncomfortable, like a better Mario West.

The funny thing is that Horford shot around 60 percent from the free throw line in college IIRC. He's obviously not comparable when it comes to attacking the basket or in the low post....but his improvement on his jumpshot really is Karl Malone esque.

Happy that we didnt fold like a lawn chair. Good effort in the 2nd half. Horford needed to touch the ball more in the 4th.

Larry Drew went away from the lineup that was working. D Wilks and Horford where sub out too long mainly Horford who single handed got us back in. And D Wilks play way better the Mo and didn't see no time in the 4th.

Yeah, I thought Damien Wilkins would be some scrub chucker, but he played exceptional defense on LeBron and also played with lots of energy, forcing long J's. I would have liked to see him rather than Mo, who seems to have fallen off even relative to last year.

If Wilkins can bring that type of energy consistantly, it would be nice to keep him around when Joe gets back.

He wasnt that good last year, either which makes this concerning. His defense has slowly gotten worst and he still cant consistently finish. Wilkins played a nice 1st game and hopefully it wasnt a fluke. LD needs to give him some minutes to see if we can use him. If he plays that kind of defense all the time, I would be opposed to starting him in favor of Mo.
