Had some great seats at the game - shall upload some pics later.

Good win for us! Granted, their team really isn't cohesive just yet.

That green section of fans were awesome. When they were counting how long Dwight takes to take a FT was beyond hilarious. Think they had him on a 15 count when it's a 10 second violation.

We dominated the boards. The win is even more special because we also took advantage of Miami falling to Dallas.

Nice way to bounce back after that debacle in Jersey yesterday.

After a couple of years of torture the Hawks finally figured out this season to take Horford off Howard and put any random big on him to battle for position and rebounds. It frees him up offensively and keeps him out of foul trouble. All those 3's they were hitting was because of the terrible concept to double Dwight and then have someone run out at the shooters which never worked. They still double Howard but not nearly as much and the Hawks stop switching everything this year and that's why you see a serious difference in this match up. Congrats Hawks you've finally learned.

Special mention to JaCo. He played Dwight well and sent a message when he oh so casually body checked Redick when he was coming around a screen.

Might have needed to run that lineup against the Nets as well. We went big against them once this year successfully and used the normal lineup twice in losses.

Not beating New Jersey hurts, but here are the latest standings.

Orlando faces Dallas tonight.

Miami 21 9 .700 --
Atlanta 18 12 .600 3.0
Orlando 16 11 .593 3.5

Those unclean pick -n- roll passed bothered me, but good win.

I wonder if Nique is quiet at times trying not to say anything negative when someone or something looks bad. Anyone sit behind him and Rathbun? I'm sure he has a WTH expression, but can't have a WTH tone on tv. lol

The new players struggled but Orlando still had the rest of the previous unit.

I am with you on those pick and roll passes. Too many are hitting the defenders or staying so low they can't be caught. The pick and roll needs to be run better.

Its almost comical that we outrebounded the Magic by double digits. Also, after the atrocity that took place in the playoffs who would of thought that we would of beaten the Magic in our first 2 meetings. Crazy.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

We are good, but we are not intelligent at all.
I just finished watching the game.
The first time Howard gets some rest we have five possesions. Neither of those possesions in used in a play inside or even near the paint.
JJ is the biggest guilty of this, as he plays isolation (does he know to play in any other way?) and we spent those 5 oportunities with: a lost pass, Evan's shoot trial, a mid range shoot missed by Marvin, a kind of JSmoove's penetration in which he mishandles the ball and a fifth one I cannot remember now.
The greatest thrill is not in killing, but in letting live.
