Yes. If we could swing him for a 1st and Etan Thomas, I'd be all over it.

what do you guys think of a lineup of

Bibby Teague
JJ JC1
Smoove Yi Jianlian
Horford J. Powell
Blatche Twin

Trade Marvin Williams and Mo Evans to Washington for Blatche Twin and a first.

I think Blatche is poison.

Now, if they want to trade McGee, I'd want to jump all over it.

Yi is most effective when he is at the 3.

I think McGee would be a nice pick up for you guys! Then you would need to move J Smith because I don't think he would make an effective 3 on a playoff team. Imagine him guarding Lebron or Pierce, in my opinion he should be packaged with Marvin and sent to the 76ers for Andre...didn't bounce it against the checker but I think it would be a good deal. Grab maybe Andre and Holiday or Williams.

I think its highly unlikely the Wizards and Grunfeld just give up on McGee. They would have to get a blockbluster of a deal, and a deal that makes them legitimate next season.

You get rid of Blatche, you remove another role piece that can be replaced. McGee won't be so easy to replace.

But they can't stand pat; they're not a very good team.

Pardon my cynicism, but the Wiz don't have to do anything. They are flawed right now because their PG is a poor field general (but, BOY!, will he improve with experience) and their C is a poor defender (again, he will improve with experience). That means they are a lottery team for maybe the next 2 years. Give them an experienced (and wonderfully talented) PG and C, add 2 high lottery picks, and their problems are answered.

All they have to do is wait ... and clear salary.

I believe Blatche is a great 4 in a 2.11 frame, but his mind seems to not be up with his body. When prepared, he is a beast and few players in the league have his potential. He is quick, has a great shot and is not thin at all. But his mind seems to carry him out of the path of greatness.
We have Horford in that same position and, although a little bit shorter, he is slightly a better player.

... Slightly? Horford's light years ahead of Blatche. We also have Josh Smith, who's better too. McGee would be awesome. We could use Yi and Hinrich, I don't think the Hawks would be crazy about them.
