Last week it was 41 point loss scoring 59 points and this week it's losing to a team that's missing 3 starters that just so happens to suck even when their healthy. Great team this Hawks team is. I mean, this kind of things just happen.

And people actually question why LD doesnt play him. I would much rather give Teague's minutes to JC2 right now, that kid can ball.

I'm honestly beginning to believe that Drew thinks that we don't need a PG; that his offense will work just fine with 2 SGs (Joe and Jamal).

"... just like Acie..."

How many 1st round picks do we have to see fail before we either change our scouting or our coaching approaches? It's an indictment against us that we've only had 2 decent PGs in the past 7 years -- and each was an over-the-hill vet scouted and developed by someone else.

I question why Drew doesn't play Teague. The goal is to win a championship, not just a few games now. Going with what he has instead of what he could have will eventually get any coach fired. The team will peak and he won't have added any pieces to help the team to improve.

Teague has had games, particularly the Celtics game, when he showed great promise. Once a prospect proves he belongs in the NBA, the only question is whether he - or his coach - has the stuff between the ears to draw his ability out. We should have been playing Teague all season, as Drew said he would last training camp. And, after the Celtics game, we should have been focusing on bringing him along. 20 minutes a game would have made a terrific difference, both in Teague's development and our team's rotation. Even those who hate Teague have to admit that Bibby is done playing major minutes. He simply hasn't the endurance - or the wheels - to run around on defense anymore. It's sad watching him arriving late to defend every jump shooter in the NBA. His speed is gone, his quickness is gone and his endurance is gone. He is now just a 20 min/game playmaker and spot up shooter.

I don't blame Drew for Teague's lack of awareness but I do blame him for the fact that Teague has REGRESSED since the Celtics game and I do blame him that Teague's confidence is noticeably worse now than it was at the beginning of the season.

And Jordan is probably never going to be a PG.

Again, unless Teague is just a jerk in practice, there is no excuse for a team that needs (at least) decent PG play to not develop him. And, if there is something wrong with his attitude, go out and trade for a PG.
