Not only do you have to pay for scouts, but you have to listen to them. We didn't really need scouts during the Billy Knight regime because he didn't seem to value anyone else's opinion. Not sure about Sund, but to me his moves seem to falter from inaccurate evaluation of our talent as much as anything else. Furthermore, I don't think they've done a job getting everyone on the same page. I can't remember the last time I felt that the GM and coaching staff were marching in time and in the same direction.
