I would if you are willing to add a 1st round pick.

Joel Anthony, Mario Chalmers and a 1st for Kirk

I wouldn't. Why would Atlanta help a division rival? The trades doesn't do anything to make the Hawks better. Bring in a much worse backup in Chalmbers and Anthony isn't anything special.

Atlanta basically gives them the type of PG they need. Someone who can play multiple positions, can defend those positions, and can handle the ball if needed.

I guess my thought was, Hinrich is a gone anyway you look at it. And yes he is the perfect fit for us, although alot of my friends on our board would disagree with that, they seem to think Chalmers is something special, and Anthony is on the cheap and serves a need and energy off the bench and would rather spend the money on a center, centers are a pipe dream, its just a real weak era for centers.

I mean Hinrich at 30 does not have some great value, other than expiring contract for most teams. I also think he would be a great fit for the lakers, hey there is a trade for you maybe, just off the top of my head, how about pau for josh & hinrich, although I doubt the lakers would want josh maybe horford instead, what happened to him when he came out I thought for sure he was a 20/10 guy

Just because Hinrich may leave after this season doesn't mean Atlanta needs to trade him for cheap backups who don't carry the same value and help a division foe at the same time. Chalmers really hasn't done much so far in the league and he is already 26, it isn't looking good for him.

Anthony might be cheap but he would likely not get a ton of playing time due to zaza being here.

I disagree about Hinrich not having value. He is a serviceable guard who could improve almost any team in the league. He has served as mentor to many other solid point guards (Rose, Wall, Teague). He is a good defender for both guard positions (see Jameer Nelson, 2011 playoffs).
