sorry to intrude on this cat fight, but motiejunas isn't weak anymore.

he's a also a great passer and phenomenal scorer, don't know where you're getting your information from. rebounding is improving, last game in 20 minutes 13 and 9.

he might be a rebounding liability but he's got the best chance out of all the europeans from this years draft to conform to nba style.

gasol at the same age in the acb was averaging 12 and 5, same as motiejunas last year in the italian league. when he went to the grizzlies it spiked to 9. these are obviously trivial stats but i expect something similar from motiejunas, seeing as how their playing styles also mirror their progression. i mean during gasols beginning career he played sf and he turned out a great 2nd option. but somehow motiejunas takes a three and is castrated and immediately followed by a bargnani comparison..

he now plays nothing like bargnani and people who mention this have no new information and are only regurgitating useless 6-10 month "draft analyst" spam.

Assuming Patrick Paterson a midrange PF is one.. who's the other?

Jordan Hill vs ??

Marvin Williams perimeter vs Donatas Motiejunas perimeter vs Josh Smith perimeter vs Al Horford perimeter

Josh Smith outside shooting vs Josh Smith inside dunking

Thabeet+Pachulia+Collins vs Collins+Pachulia/Kwame Brown

New Bench vs Old Bench (rely on Hinrich+Williams for extended minutes)/Alternative Bench??

Am I reading that right?

Jeff Teague * Kirk Hinrich *
Joe Johnson * Marvin Williams *
Josh Smith * Malcolm Thomas *
Donatas Motiejunas * Jordan Hill *
Hasheem Thabeet * Zaza Pachulia *

inj. reserve: Pape Sy, Jason Collins, Keith Benson

People know how good Horford would be next to certain players and thats why we're not getting them. That's a great package immediately and long term. If you stop and think about roles we put our players in.
