denver trades: s&t nene
atlanta trades: josh smith, 1st rd pick
WHY????
atlanta finally gets a dominant center and is able to slide horford over to the pf position. denver gets to add a young pf to their lineup. smith would fit in well since they play at such a fast tempo.
denver lineup
lawson/miller
afflalo/frobes
gallinari/hamilton
smith/faried
mozgov/koufos
atlanta lineup
teague/hinrich
johnson
wiiliams
horford/powell
nene/pachulia
nene to atlanta

Re: nene to atlanta
did not know they had Mosgov. Seeing as how you forgot to put the wing scrubs and put in Josh Powell u must be a Denver fan!
ATL fans and maybe management would be really receptive to this. Me? not so much. And dont call Nene a dominant center. He only plays 1 side of the ball.
THis is the best Hawks could get for Smith hands down. Likely vice versa for DEN and Nene.
Does this make Hawks contenders? No.
But it avoids Smith + shooter vs Horford + shooter. Hawks think it through and settle on Marvin Williams as their bailout pressure release when the bigs cant get anything going.
All Marvin pessimism aside - Nene's attacking does not lead to many free throws as you'd expect but Horford and Nene can be a great mix. If Horford could help Nene's positioning on defense and they'd be attacking from all angles.
Nene aka Baby would be relied on for a lot of scoring...
How do other DEN fans see this?
