I am not against Darko but he is not worth much trade wise other than Zaza or Marvin. He is not even worth Hinrich in a trade. Don't see them trading him straight up for Zaza or Marvin so I don't really see the Darko thing going down.

Kaman is extremely overrated. He isn't a great rebounder or really a good scorer. He is just an average center. That plus his injury concerns makes him a very risky pick of a starting center.
Would I take him if he was available for the right price? Sure. However your offer of Kaman and Bledsoe for Hinrich and Zaza wouldn't work. Clippers are very high on Bledsoe and wouldn't deal him as a throw-in for this deal.
The need for a center is overrated. Horford could guard most of them anyway. So we need to add more talent without losing our talent. That means adding talent trading Hinrich or Marvin. Keep Horford, Smith, Joe, and Teague.

Not long ago Bogut was thought of as a borderline bust considering he was taken #1. Bogut is Tyson Chandler at his best. I would send Kirk, Zaza, and 2013-14 1st for Bogut that is about it and fair IMO. Gives them cap relief and a pick.
Tyson Chandler has a ring. Because he has a set role. So does Bogut.
Horford plays multiple roles but would you lose the defense and offensive boards Tyson got for more offense?
On a team with Dirk? Jason? etc?
Tyson Chandler's offensive rating was the highest in NBA history iirc last year. He has a set role. You shoot, I rebound, I dunk it, I get tired, I rest, I'm fresh, I go back in. Rinse & repeat for 30 minutes.
Chandler is not a #1 or #2 option and won the ring with Dirk carrying the offense. Joe is not good enough to carry an offense we don't have that superstar player or we don't have it with the setup of our current personnel.
Jason Kidd is the most important player for Chandler. A PnR PG. I don't know why you love Chandler so much but hate Horford when they are the same type of player but with personnel and Horford has much more talent than Chandler.

I agree keep our real core. Horford, Teague, Smith, and Joe but the concept of a true center being overrated is overrated. We have tried this for too long. Al is not a Center and he knows it, he does not have the mentality. You can't want something for someone that they don't want, if you do you will just be wishing on a star. We need a Center that is capable of starting not named Al Horford and we don't need to give up any core for him. If we got lucky and stumbled up on Andre Drummond or Dwight came here noone would even lie to themselves like Al is a Center in comparison or the best option. This is the laziest and least ambitious approach to simply say Al is the best option even though he is not a C.
